Millie Clements joined South Texas Surgeons in 2012 and brought her passion for nutrition and health, from meal planning to physical fitness, to our patients and staff. "Learning more about the needs of the bariatric community and creating new opportunities for success is my driving force." According to Millie, the best way to feel well is to eat well.
Millie works closely with patients pre-operatively to discuss their diet and provides education on strategic meal planning, healthy cooking, and grocery shopping.
After surgery, she continues to follow-up with patients. "I realize one of the main ingredients for sucessfull weight loss is support." In addition to one on one visits, Millie also facilitates bi-monthly support group meetings and connects with the community on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
